Jalur Seleksi Mandiri ITB SM-ITB memberi kesempatan lebih luas bagi siswa lulusan SMA baik WNI maupun WNA untuk mengikuti pendidikan program sarjana di Institut Teknologi Bandung. Seleksi Mandiri ITB SM-ITB diprogramkan sebagai jalur penerimaan mahasiswa program sarjana yang akan berjalan tanpa subsidi biaya. Mahasiswa yang diterima di ITB melalui program Seleksi Mandiri ITB SM-ITB bertanggung jawab untuk membiayai secara penuh pendidikan program sarjananya di ITB. ITB tidak memberikan subsidi biaya pendidikan bagi mahasiswa yang diterima melalui program Seleksi Mandiri ITB SM-ITB. Namun demikian, proses penerimaan SM-ITB tetap menggunakan kriteria kemampuan akademik yang tinggi sebagai satu-satunya kriteria kelulusan seleksi. Khusus bagi calon peserta Seleksi Mandiri ITB SM-ITB yang merupakan pemilik Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah KIP-K serta calon peserta yang berasal dari SMA/MA di wilayah 3T, ITB membebaskan biaya pendaftaran Seleksi Mandiri ITB SM-ITB dan biaya pendidikan di ITB. Tata cara pendaftaran calon peserta SM-ITB yang merupakan pemilik KIP-K serta calon peserta yang berasal dari SMA/MA di wilayah 3T dapat diperoleh di bagian lain dari halaman ini. Proses penerimaan mahasiswa baru melalui jalur Seleksi Mandiri ITB SM-ITB dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan komponen penilaian sebagai berikut Hasil Ujian Seleksi daring, Nilai UTBK, dan Nilai Rapor bagi pendaftar ke fakultas/sekolah selain FSRD Hasil Ujian Seleksi daring, Nilai UTBK, Nilai Rapor dan Hasil Tes Keterampilan Seni Rupa daring, bagi pendaftar ke FSRD Ujian Seleksi dan Tes Keterampilan Seni Rupa akan diselenggarakan ITB secara Daring. Pada pelaksanaan Seleksi Mandiri ITB SM-ITB peserta dapat memilih seluruh Fakultas/Sekolah yang ada di ITB, kecuali Fakultas/Sekolah yang berlokasi di ITB Kampus Cirebon. Calon mahasiswa dapat memilih paling banyak 4 pilihan Fakultas/Sekolah yang diminati. Namun demikian, terdapat 9 program studi yang dapat dipilih secara langsung oleh peserta Seleksi Mandiri ITB SM-ITB melalui program SM-Peminatan, yaitu Teknik Geofisika FTTM-G Teknik Kimia FTI-G Teknik Fisika FTI-G Manajemen Rekayasa FTI-G Teknik Pangan FTI-J Teknik Material FTMD Perencanaan Wilayah dan Kota SAPPK-G Kewirausahaan SBM Desain Komunikasi Visual – Narasi Visual Digital Kelas Jatinangor FSRD-G Selain dari program studi yang ditawarkan padar program SM-Peminatan, calon mahasiswa juga dapat memilih Program Studi Strategis Nasional pada pelaksanaan SM-ITB 2023. After conducting academic activities at ITB, the study program concerned will determine the destination country and university for the outbound exchange program of each student. The implementation cost of the internationalization program activities does not include tuition fees per semester and will be entirely borne by the student concerned.
